Prison Radio Association - Evaluation

Prison Radio Association (PRA) is a the charity that believes in the power of audio to change lives.. Their mission is to produce high-quality solutions-focused radio and podcasts that amplify the voices of people with prison experience. In 2009 we founded the world’s first national radio station for people in prison – National Prison Radio and in 2022 launched the  Life After Prison; the UK’s first podcast made by ex-prisoners, for ex-prisoners. Art of Regeneration worked with PRA staff and volunteers over three years develop an organisational evaluation framework data collection tools that were appropriate to prison settings, and designed digital analysis tools to support PRA to better understand, capture and articulate the value and impact of their award-winning work producing radio for prisoners by prisoners across HMP estate in England and Wales. 2020- 2023.
